Dynamic Laser Measurements of Bridges
Our service offering includes mobile and stationary deformation measurements of bridges and other civil engineering structures.
Deformations can be measured dynamically and highly accurately across large distances using the laser system we have developed.

Advantages of this method:
Deformation measurements were performed on a riveted steel bridge in cooperation with the Technical University Hamburg (TUHH). In the course of this project that was sponsored by the Hamburg Innovation and Development Bank, the actual deformations were compared with the calculated deformations. The development project was conducted from 2017 to 2019.
View of the test bridge:
A structural element test will be performed in 2020 in cooperation with the University of Luxembourg. A 46m long section of a prestressed concrete bridge will be damaged according predefined parameters in order to gain further findings on the component behaviour due to a tendon failure.
